Need a bid or budget figure? Email or fax us with a simple plan view drawing (see some examples of basic drawings, these can be done freehand) of your staircase with a few measurements and answer some basic questions and we’ll do the rest. If you have a digital camera you can take some pictures to help explain your drawings. Also, a copy of your blueprints 1st & 2nd floors with any other pages of stair information.

Questions that must be answered:

  1. Type of installation style – Over the Post or Post to Post

  3. Baluster style number & type of wood or Paint Grade

  4. Newel post style number & type of wood or Paint Grade

  5. Skirt boards – open & wall sides – type of wood or Paint Grade

  6. Tread ends, solid stair treads, or nothing on the steps (will be carpet)

  7. Make sure you have all needed measurements on your simple drawing
  8. Need all contact information and jobsite location
